Meet the Doctors

Dr. Deepali Bhanot

DrBhanot.jpgDr. Deepali Bhanot received her dental degree and completed a residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Boston University. She has provided the highest quality dental care to children in Germantown and the surrounding areas since 1996.

Dr. Bhanot is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Maryland Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She has hospital privileges at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, and during dental health month, she speaks to students at local schools about the importance of oral health.

Dr. Bhanot and her husband have two children, ages 17 and 13. She enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, music, reading, traveling and spending time with family. Dr. Bhanot was able to travel and see the world as a child because her parents worked for the United Nations.

She looks forward to meeting each patient and helping them achieve and maintain a beautiful, healthy smile.


Dr Jennifer John


Dr. Jennifer John is from Gaithersburg, Maryland. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in Biological Sciences.  She went on to complete a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences at Towson University.  Dr. John completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2014 from University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dentistry. She moved to the Pennsylvania to complete her General Practice Dental residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Lebanon.  She has gained experience in the dental management of medically compromised and geriatric patients both ambulatory and hospital based.

Dr. John is passionate about preventive dentistry and patient education. She enjoys working with kids and instilling good dental habits at an early age. Dr. John is proficient at various aspects of dentistry such as veneers, implants, endodontics and dentures. She enjoys attending continuing education courses in order to stay current with research, techniques and medical updates. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Society and Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. John holds a dental license for both Maryland and Pennsylvania.

Dr. John is also an active member in the community. She has volunteered at the Mission of Mercy in both Maryland and Pennsylvania which provides free dental care for individuals who cannot afford dental care. She was a volunteer dentist at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lebanon, and provided dental care for veterans.  She has also been on a mission trip to Guatemala, where she provided dental care to children at Mi Refugio. Dr. John is a member at the Church of the Redeemer and volunteers as an usher.

Dr. John loves traveling and has been backpacking through Europe, driven down Pacific Coast Highway and plans on going to Peru. She enjoys staying fit via dancing, running, biking and walking her dog Diego. Dr. John is glad to back home in Gaithersburg and is looking forward to working in Maryland.
